Extra Virgin Olive Oil Fiala
Fiala is an early harvest, extra virgin olive oil produced exclusively from the Koroneiki olive variety, from Laconia, in the Peloponnese. It is highly phenolic and has a fruity aroma of freshly cut grass and artichoke, with a slightly spicy and bitter aftertaste. Fiala’s unique, handcrafted ceramic container is reminiscent of the “fkiala”, or “flaskia”, the dried water pumpkin with which locals used since antiquity to transfer olive oil.
