New Greek photographers at Momus
Α snapshot of contemporary Greek photography at Momus, Thessaloniki’s Photography Museum
April 18th saw the launch of an exhibition at Momus, Thessaloniki’s Photography Museum, focusing on a new generation of Greek photographers. it displays 32 artists, who have been part of the Greek Photography Centre’s annual exhibition, and their work between 2010 and 2018.
Curator Manolis Moresopoulos says: “These are artists from different backgrounds, who have a multitude of influences and career paths. They all have something in common however, they’re all very much of their time, utilising trends and techniques that have become prevalent in the last decade. It’s what this exhibition has always been about really, giving a snapshot of Greek photography in a particular space and time”
